FINAL RESULTS

Day one of the 2008 ISA World Championship at Waikiki

Another day in paradise here in Waikiki , Queens, for the 3rd ISA World Title of the Tandem surfing history.

24 teams came where tandem surfing was born a century ago. Thanks to the Duke and his Festival to give us the privilege to surf in such a great place.

tandem 2008 finalistsAll the best hawaiian competitors were there to show the world what Tandem is all about and we saw in the 3 first heat 3 locals win.

Chuck & Tiff (HAW) with 11,89pts, Brian & Kathy (HAW) with 12,17pts and the team from Maui Archie & Jamie (HAW) with the excellent score of 13,06pts.

On the second part of the 1st round Kalani & Ala (HAW) got the second best score of the day with 15,81pts but were surrounded by a French & a Californian team.

Clay & Kristen (USA) got the very good score of 15,52pts and took the 3rd score of the day when the French Pair , Rico & Sarah took the lead with a perfect 17,09pts.
